How to Install the Door Locks on a 1967 Ford Mustang

The 1967 Ford Mustang was equipped with a pair of mechanically operated door lock cylinders. The lock cylinders are of a fairly simple design and operate primarily of a number of tumblers actuated by a key. Over time, the internal components tend to wear, and operating the lock can progressively become more difficult. If the door lock is still in good condition but the key has been lost, a replacement key can be made from the code stamped onto the door lock. Whether replacing the lock or a lost key, the door lock must first be removed.

Tools Used: Deep-set socket wrench, Screwdriver

Remove the two bolts that secure the armrest with a deep-set socket wrench then detach the armrest from the door.
