Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P)

Removal Procedure
1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
2. Remove the screws (5) from the cluster trim plate (1).
3. Gently pry out the cluster trim plate (1).
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the instrument panel lamp dimmer .
5. Disconnect the hazard warning switch (4).
6. Remove the cluster trim plate (1).
Installation Procedure
1. Connect the hazard warning switch (4).
2. Connect the electrical connector (3) from the instrument panel lamp dimmer.
3. Align the cluster trim plate (1) tabs to the retainers.
4. Install the screws (5) to the cluster trim plate (1). Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR. Download File PDF
