Keep your 1978 Chevrolet Nova looking sharp and street legal by installing new headlights annually, before yours burn out. It takes only minutes to change the headlights yourself.
Tools Used: Phillips head screwdriver, New headlights
Install Headlights
Remove the screws that hold the chrome accent rim in place with the Phillips head screwdriver.
Unscrew the retaining ring screws that surround the headlight. Slide the retaining ring out.
Pull the light bulb up and out of the mounting.
Unplug the electrical connector from behind the old bulb. Plug the new headlight into the electrical connector and restore the retaining ring to its original position.
Secure the retaining ring with the screws and the Phillips head screwdriver. Screw the chrome accent rim back in place.
Repeat Steps 1 through 5 to replace the second headlight.
