The turn signal relay is important for the functionality of the turn signals on your 1983 Yamaha Virago 750. The relay completes the turn signal circuit and allows power to go to the turn signals themselves. If the turn signal relay blows out, you will have to replace it. But replacing the relay is fairly simple, and you won't even need any tools. The only thing you will need is a new relay, which you can find at just about any electronics or auto parts store.
Tools Used: 20A turn signal relay
